Hello,

My name’s Jess, and I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor in Bristol offering inclusive, integrative counselling for teenagers, adults and neurodivergent clients.

Knowing where to start can be confusing. There are many different types of therapy and it throws up a lot of questions. ‘How does it work?’ ‘How do I know if it’s right for me?’ I hope to make it clearer with the information below, however if you still have questions, please reach out and ask.

Warm, comfortable counselling environment for online and in-person sessions

About me

Supportive counselling for ADHD, Autism and neurodivergent experiences
Friendly, approachable therapy and counselling for children, teenagers , young people and adults in Bristol.

I’m an integrative counsellor, in plain terms, that means I draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor them to what you need, rather than using one fixed method. I believe sharing education around mental health can be really empowering and means you can take what we do together in our sessions into your own life.

I aim to offer an environment that is welcoming, where we can work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe therapy doesn’t always have to be heavy, there can be kindness, lightness and even laughter, alongside the hard work.

I’m trained to work with adults, young people and teenagers (from age 14+), and I strive to make my practice inclusive, welcoming people from all backgrounds and people.

I have a strong focus and I’m passionate about working with neurodivergent clients with ADHD and autism. My practice is informed by specialised CPD training and an in-depth understanding of how neurodivergence can impact mental health, relationships, identity, and daily life. I offer a neuro-affirming approach that centres understanding, collaboration, and respect.

If you’re curious about therapy but don’t know if it’s the right fit,  you’re very welcome to get in touch. I’m happy to answer questions or have an informal chat first.

I have tried to describe what I do without using unnecessary therapy jargon, however if you are interested in finding out more detail about my training and how I work then please click here.

How it works

  • 1. Get In Touch

Please fill out the contact form below and share a little about what’s been going on for you- your age, where your based, and anything you feel would be helpful for me to know. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

  • 2. Phone Call

We can arrange a 15 min phone call, which is free of charge, to see if I am the right fit for you. I welcome questions and would recommend you see this as interviewing me to see if I could be someone you’d like to work with. We can skip this part if you'd rather meet face to face.

  • 3. Initial Session

We book in an initial session to discuss things in more detail face to face. This can be just one session, while you decide If I am right for you, or you can book in a block of sessions depending how many you want. This session is charged as my standard rate.

  • Length of Counselling

I offer flexible counselling, from short-term work to longer-term support. We can explore what feels most helpful for you.

  • My Prices

My fee is £60 per session. Each session is 50 minutes long. I offer a small number of concessionary-rate sessions. If cost is a barrier, please feel free to get in touch so we can explore options together.
